I chose Citadel initially due to price and that they didn't require a long term contract like some of the national alarm companies. The installation went perfectly and the system blends in with the house. I don't know if it's because they do their own monitoring or that they're local or their technology but whenever our system would go off (usually due to our own fault) we would receive a call from Citadel within seconds. When I need to call in for a question or service call, they're always friendly and prompt. I have moved a couple times since the first system I purchased and I have called them to install systems immediately in my new home. They give me peace of mind.
