Drees Co. was founded in 1933 by Louie & Theresa Drees. The company handled residential sales and service and specialized in oil burning heating equipment. Louie & Theresa left a legacy of quality of work along with exceptional customer service.
Howard G. Drees, Douglas Drees and Kenneth Kammin then purchased Drees Co. in 1968. They found new ways to improve and deliver the services Drees Co. provides. Howard, Doug and Kenny continued the growth of the company, making Drees Co. a successful mechanical contractor in Central Iowa.
Representing the third generation, Howard J. Drees bought the company in 1993. Howie continues to explore all opportunities to help grow Drees Co. Adding the electrical division, temperature controls division, and the fire and security systems division has made Drees Co. a multi-dimensional company.
