Floyd Total Security is a rare company, they work together like a family and provide state-of-the-art (user friendly) products to protect your home with OUTSTANDING personal customer service. Our experience began with Floyd Security nine years ago when we installed 4 outside cameras with a security system for our new custom built home on the lake. At the time, I worked with Tony O. who handled the project; strategy, wiring and install. We view the cameras from anywhere in the world from the Hik-Connect app on our cell phones. Through the years, I built a wonderful relationship with Tony. I would reach out to him regarding questions or quick fixes when I needed help as it relates to our system. Tony’s follow up is nearly immediate. Through the last few years, we added 4 more cameras. A couple years ago I reached out to Tony for advice to upgrade all 8 dome cameras… it was at this time his colleague John H. installed the 8 upgraded 5MP resolution day and night dome cameras. Recently, we decided it was time to upgrade our entire Honeywell system to Total Connect Remote Services through Z-Wave. I called Tony who introduced me to Jerry J. Within a few days Jerry was at our house going over the Honeywell system showing me first-hand how the system works on his phone and through YouTube. Jerry worked with an electrician and his install group to get everything scheduled simultaneously. The new Honeywell Tuxedo Touch Home Security and Automation allows for remote access. From our cell phones, the Total Connect application allows us to control, from anywhere in the world, our security system, inside and outside lights and garage doors… and has the capability to send alerts to our cell phone regarding the cameras or home alarm. I was fortunate enough to have the install completed by John, who also handled our camera install. John was with me in the house the entire day (12 hours), replacing the existing control panel, upgrading keypads and a whole host of other pieces to this sophisticated puzzle. He was at the house promptly at 7:30 am, is very professional and respectful, was wearing a mask and gloves (during Covid-19), he got down to business and worked diligently. At the end of this very long productive day, he patiently helped me load the application on my phone, went through the processes of uploading, passwords, offered suggestions regarding features, etc. He was extremely helpful as we went through the testing of all the new user friendly features on the cell phone including the new high tech keypad for the house. I enjoyed my day with John; he’s a talented wonderful human being. Floyd Total Security is a seasoned group of individuals which allows for a seamless experience. We are absolutely thrilled with our new features to control the house! As it relates to pricing, the monthly fees are very reasonable for home security and to complete this upgrade we thought the pricing to be very fair; more than affordable and worth every penny. For the last nine years, we have been able to securely rely on Floyd Security; it’s a great team, they help us sleep at night. We wholeheartedly endorse their services!
