After working as a locksmith apprentice on nights and weekends, Harvey Gurney realized the need in the industry for an honest and trustworthy locksmith service. He found many of his competitors were charging high rates for service calls and installing more hardware then necessary. In 2000, Harvey left his job as a team coordinator at Chomerics Manufacturing in Hudson New Hampshire to start Goffstown Lock and Key as a full-time service business.

Over the years Harvey has gained a trusted reputation with such distinguished clients as McDonald’s Corporation; retail giants Target and Walmart; Bugaboo Creek and Subway restaurants; municipalities such as the police and fire departments in Goffstown New Hampshire as well as the Weare elementary school.
