Our roots run deep in Norfolk, VA where security systems were added as a product by Johns Brothers Inc. Founded in 1892, the local fuel-oil and HVAC icon started offering security systems and monitoring services as an added service to their customers. The companies were separated and later purchased by Dwight C. Schaubach in 1996. Since then, under the management of Woody Parsons - Vice President and General Manager, we have grown to be one of the largest privately owned and operated electronic security system companies in Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina.
We believe that everyone has the right to protect their homes and families for a fair price without having to settle for substandard customer service. Maintaining a high level of customer service in an era of substandard customer service is why we continue to grow in all economic environments. Our customers refer us to their family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. This simple business model of providing a valued product and service at a fair price and providing exceptional customer service has not failed us through our years in business. We plan to continue in this direction without cutting corners. Operating under the strict and unforgiving standards of Underwriters Laboratory (UL), our UL-approved facility operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Our local UL Monitoring Center provides a blanket of protection for our clients that is second to none. Real, live human beings who live in the same area as you, answer the telephone regardless of the time of day, the weather outside, or the date on the calendar. Johns Brothers Security is one of only a few UL-approved central station monitoring centers in the state of Virginia.
We are dedicated to providing you with the most complete range of security products available across Virginia and North Carolina. Here to protect you and your family, right here in your neighborhood. We are proud to have earned your trust.
