Professional Fire and Security LLC is an established, 10 year-old family owned business in Huntsville, Alabama. Steve Barnard, founder and owner, is a NICET level III certified engineer with more than 20 years experience working in the fire alarm and security industry. PFS provides design, installation, maintenance, certification and monitoring of commercial fire alarm systems as well as various low-voltage auxiliary systems such as security, access control, nurse call and intercom systems to large construction projects as well as small businesses. In 2013 PFS launched a new department offering fire extinguisher sales, service, consultation and installation. We are registered with DUNNS, SAMS, and Exostar for bidding jobs with the federal government or high security businesses. We are registered with AESBL (Alabama Electronic Security Board of Licensure) and all of our technicians have been cleared by the ABI (Alabama Bereau of Investigations). We are also members of the ESA (Electronic Security Association). We encourage, support and finance on-going education of our staff to maintain a high standard of operation.
