Protech Security & Electronics was in 2002 by Modesto native Dimitri Guzman as a division of Bestco Electric, Inc. dba Best Electric. The purpose was to provide a more responsive level of service the electronic security industry was lacking from an established Electrical Contractor’s perspective. Due to the tremendous growth of Protech, the division became a separate company, incorporating in 2007. Currently, Protech Security & Electronics has locations in Merced and Modesto, Ca, and covers a service area from Lodi to Fresno and even into Yosemite Valley. 

We provide a full range of residential, commercial, and industrial Burglar Alarm Systems customized to give you an overall feeling of safety, security, and protection. Burglar alarm systems are designed to detect an intrusion (unauthorized entry) into a home, building, or a specific area. Some alarm systems serve a single purpose of burglary protection and some are a combination of both intrusion and fire protection. Intrusion alarm systems may also be combined with closed-circuit television surveillance systems which automatically record the activities of intruders, and may interface with Access Control Systems for electrically locked doors.
