Phil Raacke, President of San Marino Security Systems, Inc., was a police officer for the City of San Marino for over twelve years. Due to an unfortunate injury he sustained in an on-duty accident, he was forced to retire in 1987.

During Phil's years as a police officer, he witnessed numerous false alarms resulting from poor workmanship in alarm system installation by alarm companies. In addition, he also witnessed several dissatisfied customers frustrated with the lack of quality products, customer service, binding contracts, and costly service call fees. Therefore, based on his police experience and a desire to provide valuable service to the local communities, San Marino Security Systems, Inc. was established and incorporated on July 3, 1987.

Phil swore to never charge for service calls, never tie a client into a contract, and always stand by his products, which he has maintained for over 30 years since the opening of his doors. He understood the needs and high standards of excellence that citizens demanded for their homes, businesses, and communities. It is with this knowledge and expertise that he started San Marino Security Systems, Inc. to provide the communities of the San Gabriel Valley with the best security possible, while maintaining competitive prices and quality customer service.  We have come to pride ourselves on doing clean, customized systems for each client. It is important to us to maintain healthy business relationships with satisfied customers. We do not believe in binding customers into contracts. If you are unpleased with any service, you should have the right to terminate that relationship.

Throughout the years, the business has grown and prospered thanks to a loyal client base and dedicated Employees. A majority of business comes from referrals from satisfied customers and repeat customers. Our work speaks for itself.
