Sentry Security Systems, Inc. was established in 1969 by James H. “Jim Sr.” Shultz, a visionary and entrepreneur who understood there was something missing from the growing security industry in the Kansas City market. Almost a dozen electronic security companies were already present, but Jim Sr. believed there was room for one more – one that could do it better. Fortunately, he was right.
It took a great deal of fortitude and persistence, but Sentry Security Systems, Inc. grew into a major provider of residential, industrial and commercial security services across the Kansas City metro area.
